Random Facts Investigated by Google

So I met up with Garrett last night in San Francisco for dinner and coffee and for some reason we got into conversations about random things. I think Garretts brain was a little fried from work that day! So I googled them all this morning while I was bored at the airport and here is the conclusions.

Re: Ocean under Asia
Google Says: Scientists scanning the deep interior of Earth have found evidence of a vast water reservoir beneath eastern Asia that has at least the volume of the Arctic Ocean.

Re: How far can whales swim down?
Google Says: Sperm whales can dive somewhere between 500 and 1000 meters. The most reputable source told us that submarine sonar readings have documented sperm whales at 2500 meters (8200 feet or 27.3 football fields or 1.6 miles below the surface)! The pressure is 1421 pounds per square inch (almost 100 atmospheres). 200,000 pounds (100 tons) of water press on every square foot of the whale. All the time, day and night, winter and summer, the water temperature is 2 degrees celsius (36 degrees Farenheit).

Google Says: Light purple is a good choice for a feminine design. You can use bright purple when promoting children's products. Light purple evokes romantic and nostalgic feelings.
