On my way....

So the last couple of weeks have been very interesting for me and i've definately been learning heaps about life. But right now i am sitting in the Green Tortoise Hostel in Seattle. This morning we (Jeff, Jarni, Ben, Matt and Alice-all friends from the mountain) left from Golden, BC and drove straight to Seattle, USA. The trip consisted of dodgy border immigration agents (the usa dudes are mean!), one speeding fine (jeff's was 20kms over), getting lost in Seattle city while running out of gas and then being told that our hostel had been demolished only to find it down the street later that arvo! So the first day has been pretty interesting. Stay tuned for more details on my adventures!

Last week i also went to my uncle and aunty's ranch in Ashcroft, BC. I hired a car and drove down there which was awesome, love driving- especially with the country music blaring! Went riding for three days which was good and a little painful at the same time. I hadn't been on a horse since november! Allegies played up a little but and i have a cold now but still had a wicked time. Jesse also came down with me, he didn't drive down with me but he caught the bus and got in at 2.15am so i picked him up from Kamloops. It was really good to see him again, we are still talking about lots and i'm definately going to miss him on this trip of mine to the states and back home again but when i get back to Canada for summer i hope to see a lot more of him. My aunty and uncle really liked him aswell, he got on with my aunty like a house on fire, so funny! I think he really enjoyed the horse riding and ranch too!
