Small town Golden
You know it takes about 15minutes to go from one side of golden to the other. Walking maybe 30 minutes. This town is small but really friendly. Everyone knows that the Aussies and Kiwis are coming to town and they are more than happy to have us here. Luke started on the lifts on Saturday but i don't start till next week so i've been looking around the town and settling in. I tried snow boarding on saturday and didn't succeed very much. I went straight to the top of the mountain, beautiful scenery by the way, but trying to get down the mountain when you have never snowboarded before is really difficult. I hurt my knees, got buried in powder, spained my ankle, things went numb and face planted into the snow which hurt my shoulder. Failed miserably. I'm gonna need to take a lesson. Maybe next week once i've recovered from my muscle strains! But other than that i am having fun. Missing home a little bit and have a very big longing to see the sunshine and feel warm again.
Write more when i can.

SNOW! I'm SO jealous! I'm dying ot go skiing but its unusually mild on this side of Canada as of late. We've hardly gotten any snow.
I can't see it taking you too long to get used to snowboarding since you know how to surf.
