Sunny and not so sunny san fran
Well after my last post san francisco decided to turn on the water works and it teemed down on Sunday all day so we had fun running around in the rain and got absoulutely saturated. The rest of the days were all good tho, sun shining but still cold, about 14 degrees or so. We've been doing a lot of sightseeing so here is what we have seen. Fisherman's Wharf, China Town (great food!!!), Been on a cable car ride, union sq, little italy, random suburbs of san fran due to a lengthy bus ride in the wrong direction, we hired bikes yesterday and biked over the golden gate bridge and down into sausalito (my bum hurts from the seat!)and generally just hitting the shops all over town.
On monday cos it was still kinda raing we hit the shops and bought pretty much everything we need to the snow. $640USD later i am ready, i think! Bought snow jacket and pants, long sleeve tops, snow googles, beanies, gloves. I think i got a pretty good deal really and i would recommend anyone to wait until getting to the states to buy ski stuff as in australia this stuff would have put me well over $1000AUD.
Luke is hitting alcatraz today so i have the day to myself so i'm just about to pop to the hairdresser and get a new look for canada. Take care!
